Why ModMyRides looks more real
Most AI car editors redraw your entire photo. That is why shop signs turn into gibberish and the car next to yours changes shape. We only change the car: after the AI paints it, we cut the car out and place it back onto your untouched original photo. The street, the signs and the reflections in the background stay exactly as you shot them.
A full wrap or a respray is one of the most expensive cosmetic changes you can make, and it is hard to picture from a small film sample. A realistic preview on your own car, in your own light, is the cheapest way to avoid a color you regret.
Start from a preset
Not sure where to begin? Presets apply a full look in one click, then you can tweak it: Murdered-out (matte black, black wheels, limo tint), Clean OEM+ (gunmetal wheels, medium tint, slight drop), Stance, Track, Off-road, Chrome show car, Nardo sport and Widebody.
Tips for a great result
- Shoot in daylight or even light; avoid harsh noon shadows across the hood.
- Get the whole car in the frame with a little space around it.
- Change one or two things per edit for the cleanest result, then stack more in a second edit.
- Compare two or three colors side by side before you book a wrap.

Questions
What is AI car modification?
You upload a photo of your car, choose changes such as a new color, wrap, wheels, tint or ride height, and the AI edits your actual photo so you can see the result before paying for real work.
Is it free?
Yes to start. New accounts get 10 free credits, enough for one edit (10 credits each). Free edits carry a small watermark. After that, credit packs start at $5 and never expire. See pricing.
Does it change my background?
No. We edit the car, then place it back onto your original photo, so buildings, signs, road markings and other cars stay exactly as you took them. Many AI tools redraw the whole picture and scramble any text in it.
What can I change?
Paint color and finish, full vinyl wraps (gloss, matte, satin, chrome, color-shift), wheels, window tint, brake calipers, chrome delete, lights, stripes and liveries, lowering or lifting, spoilers and body kits. You can stack several changes in one edit.
What photo works best?
A sharp, well-lit photo where the whole car is in frame. A three-quarter front view or a straight side view gives the most realistic wheels and paint. Any phone camera is fine.
Does it work on any make and model?
Yes. The AI works from your photo, not a 3D model library, so it handles everyday cars, classics, trucks and SUVs alike.
How long does an edit take?
Usually 15 to 40 seconds. If an edit fails, your credits are refunded automatically.
Who owns the images?
You do. You can use your edits however you like, including commercially. You must own or have permission to use the photo you upload.
Is the preview exactly what the real wrap or part will look like?
It is a realistic illustration, not a guarantee. Real colors vary with the film or paint brand, lighting and your screen, and wheel fitment depends on sizes and offsets. Use it to decide on a direction, then check samples with your installer.
